Brexit Party wins 2019 Euro elections; Lib Dems snatch second

The contest that wasn’t meant to happen. The 2019 European Elections for the UK took place Thursday 23rd May and saw the Brexit Party take first place with 31 per cent of the vote. Theresa May’s Conservatives fell to fourth place while the Lib Dems pipped Labour for second.
